Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado helps children reach their full potential through volunteer mentoring relationships with caring adults. Mentoring helps at-risk children make better grades, get along with parents and peers, and avoid drugs, alcohol and violence. This Catalyst partnership is helping to implement a five-year plan to triple the number of youth served, target underperforming schools, and partner with local businesses. Catalyst funds are invested in leadership development, program evaluation, community outreach, technology, corporate partnerships, and fund development.
“Through the Catalyst grant, the Bonfils-Stanton Foundation has helped to strengthen Big Brothers as an organization, expand our mentoring programs, and grow leaders for the future. This Partnership has empowered us to pursue our vision of changing the world through our children.” — Dave DeForest-Stalls, President/CEO
