The Catalyst Partnership Program invests in high-performance organizations that are poised to move from “good to great” by achieving significant and measurable increases in organizational effectiveness and impact.
Catalyst grants involve meaningful financial support that may continue over multiple years. Funds are generally targeted to build organizational capacity in such areas as strategic planning, leadership, governance, fund development, financial management, program evaluation and infrastructure. These targeted investments are expected to result in measurable and sustainable increases in organizational impact – on mission, field of practice and the nonprofit sector.
Candidates for the Catalyst Partnership Program are selected by the Foundation Trustees. These organizations are then invited to apply based on a compelling vision of superior performance, a comprehensive organizational assessment, and an implementation plan that includes goals, milestones, costs and measurable outcomes.
In the spirit of “engaged philanthropy,” the Foundation staff and Trustees provide technical assistance as well as financial support as part of the Catalyst Partnership Program.
