Jennifer Atler

Jennifer Atler is the Executive Director of Invest in Kids. This organization partners with communities throughout Colorado to improve the health and well-being of young children through research-based programs. She left her law practice in 1999 to join Invest in Kids where she could “marry her passion of working on behalf of women and children with her job.” She has a B.A. in Economics from Duke University and a J.D. from Georgetown University, and has completed internships in a congressional office, with a federal district court judge, and with the American Coalition of Abuse Awareness. Jennifer’s goal through the Fellowship is to learn from national experts how to replicate Invest in Kids in another state, while assuring that the Colorado organization has the necessary infrastructure to support such growth.
