
We ask that organizations seeking grants call the Foundation to discuss potential funding requests before submitting a proposal.
The Foundation welcomes the Colorado Common Grant Application. Please refer to their online Users Guide for questions about the Common Grant Application.
Please contact the Foundation directly with specific questions about using the Common Grant Application to apply for a Foundation grant, or to discuss an alternative format for a grant proposal.
Proposal Deadlines
Complete proposals must be postmarked or received in the Foundation office before 5:00 p.m. on the last business day of the the following months:
January
April
July
October
Restrictions
- Organizations may submit only one proposal in a calendar year
- Organizations whose proposal has been declined are generally not eligible to reapply for a period of two years
The following are generally not eligible for funding:
- Loans, grants or scholarships to individuals
- Events, media productions, seminars, conferences, or travel expenses related to meetings
- Activities or initiatives that have a religious purpose
- Endowment funding
- Funding to retire operating debt
- Requests from organizations outside of Colorado or that are not for the benefit of Colorado citizens
