Rossina Schroeer-Santiago, MA, LPC, LAC, NCC, ACS, GCDF, CIGT is a licensed professional counselor, licensed addiction counselor, and founder of the Therapist of Color Collaborative (TOCC)—a trailblazing mental health collective supporting nearly 40 providers of color serving communities of color across Colorado. 

Rossina holds a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University–Denver and a Bachelor’s in Speech Communications with an emphasis on Theory from Metropolitan State University of Denver. She also holds numerous national credentials, including National Certified Counselor, Accredited Clinical Supervisor, Global Career Development Facilitator, and Certified Integrative Gestalt Therapist. A proud U.S. Army Veteran, Rossina served from 1996 to 2003, including a combat deployment during Operation Enduring Freedom I. Her diverse professional background includes service at Denver Human Services, the Office of Congresswoman Diana DeGette, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and Colorado’s Community College System—each role strengthening her commitment to systems-level change and community healing. 

In her Denver-based practice, Rossina offers bilingual, culturally responsive therapy rooted in a humanistic and trauma-informed approach. She specializes in supporting veterans, individuals impacted by homelessness and incarceration, and those navigating grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, and life transitions. Since launching TOCC in 2017, Rossina has led the delivery of more than 16,000 hours of grant-funded mental health therapy sessions to underserved communities. As the Collaborative’s clinical lead, she provides ethical oversight, supervision, and strategic direction to ensure the highest standards of care. Her work fosters inter-entity partnerships and capacity-building across mental health and community ecosystems, while mentoring the next generation of clinicians of color. 

Rossina is recognized for her compassionate leadership, commitment to equity, healing justice, and her ability to hold space for meaningful growth. She believes that healing is most powerful when it honors culture, lived experience, and personal truth. Through her work, she fosters spaces where individuals and communities can reclaim their power, live with intention, and build futures rooted in authenticity and resilience.
